1.4.9. Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts can be used to speed up the process of building a figure. The shortcut for a button can be viewed while using Pivot by hovering the mouse cursor over it, but are also given below.
C - add a
Circle
L - add a
Line
D -
Duplicate selected segment (+Shift for the whole branch, +Ctrl for mirror)
K - change the
Kind of the selected segment (line/circle)
F - change the
Fill of the selected circle
E - change the
End cap of the selected line
Up/Down arrows - change segment thickness by +/-1 pixel (+Shift for the whole branch, +Ctrl for +/-5)
S - make the selected segment
Static/dynamic (+Shift for the whole branch)
O - set
Origin joint of the figure at selected segment
Insert - split selected segment by
Inserting a joint (+Shift for the whole branch)
Delete -
Delete selected segment or polygon (+Shift for the whole branch)
H - set colour (
Hue) of selected segment or polygon (+Shift for the whole branch, +Ctrl for gradient colour)
M - flip (
Mirror) the selected segment (+Shift for the whole branch, +Ctrl for flip vertical)
Right arrow - raise selected object in draw order to top (+Shift for the whole branch, +Ctrl for 1 step)
Left arrow - lower selected object in draw order to bottom (+Shift for the whole branch, +Ctrl for 1 step)
keys - Adjust window transparency
Shortcuts can also be used with the Ctrl key to perform operations from the menu such as Undo / Redo or Save the figure type. These are shown to the right of their menu items.

Ctrl+Q - decrease outline thickness
Shortcuts for zooming are the same as in the main animation window, although F3 and F4 zoom to the selected segment or the whole figure respectively.

F1 - scale to

F2 - scale to

F3 - scale to selected segment or polygon and center (+Shift for whole branch)

F8 - Match main Canvas Pan/Zoom with the figure builder pan/zoom when in transparent window mode
F9 - Set the background colour of the canvas
F12 - Highlight Selected Segment
I - Input segment values
Esc - Close window
